As a further development of the Special Award for the Environment, which has already been awarded for 10 years as part of the Innovation Award of the District of Göttingen, the Climate Innovation Award of Lower Saxony is an independent competition at the state level. The competition is organizationally affiliated with the Innovation Award of the District of Göttingen. Thus, all applicants again had the opportunity to compete for two prizes at the same time with one application.
