In few German regions is the automotive industry as deeply rooted as in the northwest. In addition to the large factories of the manufacturers Daimler and VW and the numerous supplier companies, the important seaports in Bremen and northwest Lower Saxony stand out. A large part of the automobile transhipment for the German manufacturers is handled there.
