Today, the DZNE comprises ten sites - Berlin, Bonn, Dresden, Göttingen, Magdeburg, Munich, Rostock/Greifswald, Tübingen, Ulm and Witten - and thus bundles expertise distributed throughout Germany within a single research institution. More than 1,100 experts work together to understand the causes of diseases of the brain and nervous system and to find new approaches for effective prevention, therapy and patient care.
