Through interdisciplinary research, impact-oriented consultancy and internationally oriented training, the Institute supports a global public welfare policy that is oriented towards the guiding principle of sustainable development. We want to contribute to improving human welfare in such a way that poverty and inequality decrease, global systemic risks are contained, ecological hazards are reduced and political participation is guaranteed, thus enabling future generations to meet their needs.
