The Cluster of Excellence PhoenixD (Photonics, Optics, and Engineering - Innovation Across Disciplines) comprises more than 120 scientists from the departments of physics, mechanical engineering, chemistry, electrical engineering, computer science and mathematics. Together, they conduct research in the field of optics and photonics, a key technology of the 21st century.
