As the State Geological Survey (SGD), we have the task of collecting, evaluating, processing and archiving specialist information on the nature of the subsurface - state-wide according to uniform procedures. Our core task is the geoscientific survey of the state, which we carry out on behalf of the state government for existential and risk prevention. Based on this, we produce geoscientific data, maps and specialist publications.
