Emden/Leer University of Applied Sciences receives EXIST V funding from the Federal Ministry of Economics and Climate Protection. As part of the funding package "Potentiale heben", the university-centre transformation project "MeerCommunity- Mehr Startups für die Region" has the task of making Emden/Leer University of Applied Sciences a start-up-friendly university by 2024. The objectives are: Start-up culture, start-up teaching and networking within the campus (e.g. cooperation between the departments) and outside the campus (cooperation with actors from business and practice).
