As a non-profit research institute, we are in close contact with the process industry. Through our shareholder, the Steel Institute VDEh, we are particularly connected to the steel industry, its associations and federations. We take up new relevant topics such as energy efficiency, process optimisation, measurement technology and Industry 4.0 and make them the focus of our work.
